Do you have pet insurance?

My friend and his wife have 2 cats. They were with them since I first met them in 1997. Their cats are probably more than 10 years of age now. Fortunately for them, their cats have been healthy so far *touch wood*.

Recently, my friends have been looking into an affordable pet insurance for their two cats, just in case for emergency, as the cats are no longer younglings. Even when people get older, they tend to get more sickness ... I believe it is the same for pets. It could be expensive for the pet's owners if something happened to their pet and needed surgery or veterinarian care. Vet cost is very high and could go up to $6000 depending on the procedure. At least with a pet insurance, pet's owner will be assured that some of the cost will be covered by the insrance company.
