The year 2007 looks to bring in an abundance of movies to attact people to the box offices from Shrek 3, opening this week, to the Transformers opening this summer. Spiderman 3 has already exceeded expectations in its draw. This looks like another good year for movies to break box office records.
Exciting horror movies have become a major draw for film makers these past couple of years. The new movie going audience has become fascinated with the mixture of getting scared and excited when watching a movie.
Here is another in the line of horror movies... from the director of the classic horror movie, the Exorcist, opening in theaters May 25th, 2007 the Bug movie. Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon star in this horror movie. Ashley Judd plays a lonely waitress with a tragic past. She rooms in a run-down motel, living in fear of her abusive, recently paroled ex-husband. She begins tentative romance with a drifter and starts to feel hopeful again. Then the bugs arrive... exciting enough for you?
So be ready to line up for Bug Movie when it comes to your theater on May 25th, 2007, which happens to be my sister birthday too. I know she loves watching horror movies. Hey, sis, if you are here ... let me book us for a Bug Movie date on your B-day.
