3-days weekend

This coming Monday will be Memorial's Day Holiday. Offices will be close for this public holiday, but malls and other services will be opened.

There are not too many public holidays in USA. Only 6 public holidays which most offices will observe. These holidays include:

1. New Year's Day (Jan 1st)
2. Memorial's Day (last Monday in May)
3. Independent's Day (July 4th)
4. Labor's Day (first Monday in Sept)
5. Thanksgiving Holiday (last Thursday in Nov)
6. Christmas Day (Dec 25th)

I like the way some holidays are not date specific, but instead it falls on the first or last Monday, which is nice because offices get a 3 days weekend.

To me, there will be no different as I work everday ... taking care of my little boy, even on weekend, public holiday or no public holiday, my work still continues.
