Starting a business

Living in LA gives a person so many opportunities to venture. Recently a client of mine approached me to start a business venture with him. He told me to discuss with my family first before accepting the offer. Immediately after our appointment, I went home and spoke to my husband. He told me as long as we do the business as LLC Company, it will be no harm in taking his offer.

Well, it is not easy to start a LLC and you need to know how and where to find the information. There are many online websites that offer to help applying for LLC on your behalf for a fee which takes off the hassle on your part to submit all the needed information. I wouldn't mind using one of these online service as it will help to save me time. But first we need to get our business plan and financial stuff together.

Of course there are many other legal and tax documents to file once the LLC is set up. One of the lists of things you might want to consider doing, which I learnt from IncParadise dot com is issuing stock and member certificates to the partners or investors in the business. You can find these free LLC forms at their website.

They also can help your small business to prepare company minutes for only $20-$25. Keeping record of minutes for the meeting is important as later the IRS may request these documents for viewing. It doesn't matter if your business is a one person or multi level corporation.

Well, I better stop typing now. Gotta hop onto their website to read the LLC FAQ.
