Price hike

In the recent weeks I've seen at least 2 price hikes in food we frequently buy. Yesterday my husband came back with a 1 foot long subway sandwich and he told me they raised the price from $5.79 to $5.99. A year ago the same sandwich was only $5.49. So it went up $0.50.

Last week when we bought some sushi from Nijiya, for the first time I saw their prices went up 50 cents each box. The California roll we used to buy was only $4.99 but now is $5.49. This box of sushi was selling at $4.49 2-3 years back. The Spicy Tuna Sushi also went up from $4.99 to $5.49.

I am guessing a lot more higher prices I will come across if I continue eating out. All these prices went up but they never go back down again.
