98¢ Marukai @ Gardena

This is the 98¢ Marukai store. A few years ago, all the things sold here were 98¢ or under. But now, there are a mixture of prices inside this store. I would say most of the items are around $1.50.

I just bought two bento box accessories for $1.50 each today. It is fun window shopping at this store as you may find something cute and cheap. I also got my son a few board books from here for $1.50 each, regular price $5-$10 each.

Now that they no longer sell only 98¢ items, they carry all kind of things, from Japanese groceries to furnitures. They even have a indoor spa floor model in this store. Check it out if you are in the vicinity. There is another 98¢ Marukai down in South Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd pass Sepulveda Blvd.
