A few years ago we demolished our old kitchen and rebuilt a new contemporary style kitchen with an island in the center. We added a new coat of paint as well as new flooring. We even changed the old wooden window to the new aluminum double panes with grids. The old soffit was taken off to make the ceiling higher.
