Islands @ Manhattan Village Mall

We dropped by Islands at Manhattan Village Mall this last Monday to have dinner. We arrived around 5pm and there was no line. We got seated immediately which was nice as we were pretty hungry. But by the time we left the restaurant at 610pm, there was a line outside waiting for tables. Guess we were lucky as we usually have dinner around 5-530pm.

This was my first time to the Islands Restaurant at this location. I've been to another same chain outlet in Rolling Hill Plaza which we frequent more. We love the interior decor and my son particularly happy with the slow spinning ceiling fan. He enjoyed watching it while we have a quiet dinner.

We orderred the Soft Fish Taco and Hula Burger on wheat bun. Hubby had a free french fries coupon and we got that as appertizer. For drinks, I got a strawberry milk shake, YUMMY! Food overall was good, may be because we were hungry. The fries were good too, crispy outside and soft inside, I like it with a lot of ketchup.
