Kuala Lumpur @ Pasadena - Closed

I thought of having Malaysian food for lunch on Saturday and we decided to pay a visit to our favorite Malaysian Restaurant at Old Town Pasadena on Green Street. The last time we've been there was when I was pregnant with Brandon, hmm come to think of it, it might be longer than that. I don't recall to be honest.

We parked our car at the parking structure on De Lacey which offers free 90 minutes parking. It's definitely enough for us to have lunch and walk a bit around. We usually park there as elsewhere are metered parking. Or else if we feel like walking 2 blocks we can park farther south of Green Street. But in this hot weather is good to be in a covered parking.

I still have the restaurant menu and it supposed to open at 12pm on Sat and Sun. We arrived at 11:30am and we walked around Colorado Blvd first and then turned back to Green Street. From a few doors away, I felt something amiss from this restaurant. I saw brown papers covering the glass windows. Then when I got closer, I saw a sign regarding a new restaurant to be opening at this location. There was no notice if Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Restaurant was moved to another location. So my final verdict is that it closed down. Business is very competitive in this area and there were many restaurants around. I am guessing they did not have enough customers to keep the restaurant going. Not sure when was that, but now we have 1 less Malaysian restaurant in this city if I feel like having some food from my own country.
