Dragon Boat Festival @ Long Beach

This is the first time I heard about Dragon Boat Festival since I've been in USA. I know about it and we have it in Penang every year. It is a sport for all young and old ages. The boats are painted beautifully for the races.

This year the Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Marine Stadium in Long Beach on July 28-29, 2007. Addition to the dragon boat races, there will be other Chinese performances - acrobats, dances, martial art and more.

If you haven't been to one, now is time. It is a once a year event. We may also pop by for my son to see some lion dances.
