Lucille's @ Del Amo Mall, Torrance

Last Tuesday we went to have dinner at Lucille's BBQ. It has been so long since the last time we were there. I always love their freshly baked warm biscuits with apple-butter. And their drink portion is so huge (see picture) which they serve in a big tall jar.

The dish we always ask for was of course, their famous southern style BBQ baby back rib. We ordered the combo plate of beef ribs and baby back ribs with 2 sides, shoestring fries and garlic mashed potatoes. We also ordered another 1/2 chicken sandwich plus their daily soup which, that particular day is corn chowder. This came with the peanut slaw (similar to coleslaw) as the side. We didn't finish all the ribs. We got brought home the leftover and had them for our dinner with rice the next day. Price for the combo plate is $25, and the 1/2 sandwich and soup is $10.

This Lucille outlet is located next to Del Amo Mall. Parking is a little tight. You have to go early to get easy parking. We were seated immediately when we went in. If you go later, pass 530pm, the line may be long. There was one time we waited 45 mins to get a table. It was a weekend and if I remember correctly, we were there to celebrate FIL's birthday. But the wait was so long until FIL became overly hungry. He usual dinner time is 530pm.

If you are around a Lucille's BBQ and haven't try it, you have to. They also have take out orders, which we might do the next time we are thinking of having some southern style BBQ ribs.
