What is nofollow?

You readers may already know what nofollow means. But I am confused about this. I received an opportunity and wrote about it but my post was rejected due to **No blog posting with nofollow in the opp link or the meta robots tag will be accepted for this opp.

It would be great if any of you can clarify this specific requirement for me. Thanks.

EDIT: I think I might figure it out myself. After a lot of research on googles and blogger's help pages, I have followed their advice and scanned through my template. First, I looked if my setting was YES to 'Add my blog to the listings,' and it was YES. So I continued to look under my template/html codes. Remember to expand your widget. Look carefully and see if you can find rel="nofollow". Easiest way is to copy the whole code and paste in your Microsoft Word and use FIND "nofollow". I found two of this tag in my code and I deleted them. Hopefully with the tag deleted, my blog will be able to search under google.

Still not sure if this will fix it, but I will find out soon from them.
