Rainforest Cafe @ South Coast Plaza
This is the Rainforest Cafe in Orange County. Located on the 1st floor of South Coast Plaza, it has been a very busy spot for lunch, especially for patrons with kids. This was the first time I ever noticed the restaurant was filled with children. Almost every table there was at least one kid.
It was a very long time since the last time we've been here. But we know it would be fun for our son. He started learning about animals, and he loves elephants and giraffes. Our wait was long, about 30 minutes to get a table. There were many other tables available but we think that they might be lack of servers. Anyway, it was worth the wait. We were seated in front of an aquarium, which we really appreciate as our son could look it at when he gets bored. We ordered a Safari Burger with potato chips, a Turkey Wrap with safari french fries and a kid's meal for Brandon.
Food was great. No complaint. The burger was so tasty. I finished all of it myself. And also shared some french fries from my son's order.
If you haven't been to this restaurant, you should give it a try. It will add a safari kingdom atmosphere while you dine. A definitely good experience for those with kids.
