Pay Parking w/ Credit Card

This was the first time I've seen payments for parking can be made using credit cards. Well, not many places in Los Angeles require parking fee. Most of the malls, plaza provides free parking spaces. Unfortunately, certain crowded places, especially the beach area, there will be a parking fee. There are structures where you can park your car or you can park it by the street where there are metered parking.

This parking structure we went to is located inside Redondo Beach Pier. We went there for lunch at Tony's Fish Market. On the weekdays, you can get free 1 hr parking with store validation. But on weekends, no validation is allowed. So we have to pay for parking.


When we walked towards the machine to make the payment, I saw the bottom part that says 'Insert credit cards'. Amazed by it, I tried using my credit for the parking fee payment of $3.50. And it worked!
