Buca Di Beppo Huntington Beach

This is our first time trying this Italian restaurant. Actually there is one in Redondo Beach which is nearer to our house than this location but because we were on our way back from Orange County, Huntington Beach's location is just off the 405 freeway with convenient on/off ramp from the freeway.

They open for lunch on weekend at 11am. We arrived at 1pm. Before they seated us, they offered to take us on a tour thru their kitchen. There wasn't much to see. There was a pizza station, the regular entree station and that's about it. We were seated by the booth table. They have special lunch menu that offers smaller portion of food than their dinner's menu. They server told us their dinner menu is big and meant for sharing among the family. We orderred Spagetti with Meatball and Fresh Salmon with Pesto Sauce.

My opinion on their food:
It is very authentic. The ingredients they use are fresh. Have a wide range of selections. Love their complimentary sourdough bread. Pricing is reasonable for lunch menu.

angeleyes: so fast got paid already. so creamaid is different from PPP?

grace: they offer tour to everyone, but the kitchen is very standard. nothing special except for the brick pizza oven.
